Condolence messages for Late Prof T.Chuba



Dimapur, July 16 (MExN): The Lok Sabha MP, Nagaland, C M Chang and his family have expressed deep shock & anguish over the demise of Prof. T Chuba, at Dimapur.  The MP said that he had a long association with the former Minister and educationist and his demise is a loss for the entire Naga society. The void created by his death will be difficult to fill but added that his teachings and principles in life should be followed and practiced to keep his spirit alive. Lastly, the MP has prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace and also to give strength to the bereaved family members to overcome the shock.

The NPF Dimapur Division also expressed condolence and stated that in its short association with Prof T Chuba as a candidate from 1 Dimapur-I A/C, his memory is still fresh in our minds and it will be cherished forever. The NPF Dimapur Division has prayed to the Almighty to give solace to the departed soul and also strength to his family members to tide over the crisis.

Dr. Vikuosa Nienu in a separate note stated “Not only had I the pleasure of knowing and working with him, but he was also a good friend of mine.  We co-founded the Naga Youth Society in 1968: he served as the President and I as the General Secretary.  A kind-hearted person, Prof. Chuba was destined to become a beacon to our youth, especially the less fortunate, and he did everything within his power to accomplish those goals. His was a life full of good things, always accompanied by hearty laughter.  That was the kind of person he was!  His passing will not only leave a void in our lives, but in the hearts of everyone who knew him. Prof. Chuba’s memory will always remain deep within our hearts. My wife and I send our deepest sympathies to the bereaved families, especially to my friend Sanen.”
Dr.Piketo Achumi Rtd.Director.Higher Education Nagaland stated, “It is sad to learn the demise of Prof. T. Chuba Ao. He a senior friend to me was a well student leader during his youth. The role he played as an intellectual of the state was acknowledged facts as Principal of Kohima cCllege and later as Minister of Higher & technical education. In his death the Nagas have lost one of the most dynamic personalities of the state. With condolences to his beloved wife and family members -May his soul rest in eternal peace.”
