Dimapur, July 16 (MExN): The Two Wheelers Association, Phek Village has strongly condemned what it termed the shameful act of Vekuyie Resu, and Veba Therie S both from Pholami Village, under Phek District. The duo allegedly stole a Pulsar bike in the month of May 20 last belonging to Kuchozo Vero, of Phek Village, who is an active member of the Association at his residence, Phek Town.

According to a condemnation note appended by Association President Rukuto Venuh, and general secretary Vepichi Keyho, the duo with ‘ill intentions’ came all the way from Pholami and took away Vero’s bike which was parked in his house at Phek Town during the night and proceeded towards Pfutsero side. Following Vero’s filing an FIR at Phek Police station, the Sakraba Youth Society on having suspicious nature of the duo investigated and apprehended the duo with the stolen bike on June 14.

The two after investigation by the Sakraba Youth later were handed over to the Police where the duo is presently under Police custody. Appreciating the tireless efforts of the Sakraba Youths, the Association further sought their continuous effort even in the near future. The Association while condemning the act of Vekuyie and Veba further urged the concerned authority to award un-bailable warrant to the duo. It further appeals all the right thinking citizens to condemn the same so as to eradicate such situation in the society.
