NPF workers joint meet held

Dimapur, July 30 (MExN): A joint meeting of NPF party workers from 28 Koridang A/C was held today at the Treasurer’s Residence, Yimyu Ward, Mokokchung attended from all the 10 units of the constituency. The meeting was also attended by its representative Imkong L. Imchen, Home Minister Nagaland. After a lengthy deliberation, the house unanimously adopted a three-point resolution. The house expressed happiness and extended “full support and cooperation to the resolution adopted by the Nagaland Legislative Members to resign en-masse from their seats in order to pave way if a solution to the Naga political issue is brought about.” The second resolution read, “The meeting proposed for the conduct of a joint seminar of all village council members of 28 Koridang A/C on Naga political issue.” The third resolution was that Home Minister Imkong L Imchen was “fully entrusted by the 28 Koridang A/C NPF” to fulfill the resolution adopted at the meeting today.

ANCSU 33rd Foundation Day

Dimapur, July 30 (MExN): All the senior leader, presidents and general secretaries of all the affiliated Colleges of All Nagaland College Students’ Union are informed that the Union will be celebrating its 33rd Foundation day on August 2, 2012 at 10:00 am on the Naga Solidarity Park, Kohima. Neihu C. Thur, IAS Secretary Union, Government of Nagaland will be the chief guest.  

DEO Kohima informs

Dimapur, July 30 (MExN): All Principals/Headmasters of all GHSS/GHS/GMS under the District Education Officer, Kohima are hereby informed to compile and submit list of all Grade-IV adhoc employees under their respective institution who are eligible to undergo suitability test for regularization of service upon completion of continuous service for three years and above.  Further, the list of employees so compiled should be submitted on or before August 9, 2012 accompanied by: (i) appointment order; (ii) birth certificate; (iii) 2(two) copies of recent passport size photograph and (iv) performance certificate from the head of institution. This was stated in a press note issued by Z. Khesheli, DEO Kohima.

LAWCK informs residents

Dimapur, July 30 (MExN): The Lower Agri Ward Council, Kohima (LAWCK) has informed its residents to chain the pets/dogs within their respective compounds. Any such pets/dogs loitering within the colony area shall be treated as stray pets/dogs and necessary action shall be taken without further information from the date of notice issued. This was stated in a public notice issued by LAWC Kohima chairman Atuo Kapfo. Also, the notice informed that as per declaration of garbage free-zone under Ward-18, all the citizens within the colony are compulsory to abide rules and regulations given by Government Municipal Act (KMC) and further requested to cooperate with sanitation for smooth implementation.

MSU toppers’ felicitation programme

Kohima, July 30 (MExN): The Mao Students’ Union (MSU) will be organizing a felicitation programme for the toppers of HSLC to degree course (academic Excellency) on August 4 at 10:00 am at its office headquarter Tadubi.  All the Mao frontal organizations, village organizations, federating units and subordinate bodies have been requested to attend the programme positively.  This was stated in a release issued by MSU general secretary Neli Mao.

NPF Central Women Wing coordination meet

Dimapur, July 30 (MExN): The NPF Central Women Wing is scheduled to have a coordination meeting with the Minister in charge M.C Konyak for Forest, Environment, Ecology & Wildlife Excise on August 3, 2012 at 11:00 am at NPF Central headquarters. A press note issued by Sapralii Neyekha, general secretary, Press i/c informed that all the office bearers are requested to attend the meeting positively.
