14 schools to participate in debate competition
Kohima, August 7 (DIPR): Altogether 14 Schools, both government and private Schools under Kohima district, will be participating in the district level debate competition which is being organized by the Kohima District Planning & Development Board on August 17 at 12:00 noon at DC's Conference hall, Kohima under the topic "Kohima district is developing".
The names of the participating Schools are Mezhur Higher Secondary School, Northfield Higher Secondary School, Christ King Higher Secondary School, Mt Sinai Higher Secondary School, Stella Higher Secondary School, Bethel Higher Secondary School, Government Higher Secondary School, Tseminyu, Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, G. Rio Higher Secondary School, Ministers Hill Baptist Higher Secondary School, Mt. Carmel Higher Secondary School, Chandmari Higher Secondary School, Grace Higher Secondary School and Government Higher Secondary School, Kohima.
The participating school authorities are to send four students to accompany the participant and also to witness the debate competition in full uniform. They are directed to arrive at the hall by 11:00 am and select their own leaders among themselves. Each speaker will be given four minutes. The leader of the group will be given the first chance to speak. Three winners and three consolation winners will be awarded cash and certificates. Certificate of participation will also be given to all participants.
