Among the many festivals in Nagaland, the Medumneo festival observed by the Yimchunger Naga is one of the most important and popular festivals of the tribe. The festival marks with purification of children, ritually sticking of a branch of tree on every house, eating of new rice.
A series of photographs captured during the Yimchungrü Medumneo festival celebrated today at NEZCC Complex, 3rd Mile Dimapur organized by Yimchungrü Union in collaboration with YTC and NEZCC Dimapur.
