SP Dimapur reminds on directive to auto drivers

DIMAPUR, AUGUST 18 (MExN): In pursuance to this Office Order of even No. 4485, dated 20.10. 2011 and which was also carried in the Local Newspapers directing all auto rickshaws plying in Dimapur district to ply in the specified road permit issued during registration as resolved during the meeting of the District Road Transport Authority (RTA) with representatives from the Dimapur Auto Rickshaw Owners Union (DAOU) and Dimapur Auto Rickshaw Drivers Union (DADU), it is informed to all concerned that enforcement of the existing order is continuing so as to streamline and manage the traffic congestion in the main town. This was stated in a press note issued by SP Dimapur.
In this connection, it is reiterated to all concerned to strictly abide with the direction and to ply their vehicle along specified route. It is informed that checking shall continue to be conducted in and around Dimapur town for implementation of the direction and violators will be penalized as per provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act. It is therefore requested to all concerned to co-operate with the traffic police and to abide with the order.
Tangkhul Hoho Nagaland meet
DIMAPUR, AUGUST 18 (MExN): The half yearly meeting of the Tangkhul Hoho Nagaland (THN) will be held on August 20, 2012 at Tangkhul Baptist Church, Kuda village at 11 am to discuss matters such as – Approval of draft constitution, Flag, Motto, Logo, etc. Therefore, all the Tangkhuls residing in different parts of Nagaland are requested to turn up for the meeting in time, informed a press note issued by NA Kasar President, THN.
