Kohima, August 22 (DIPR): The Department of Sericulture has fixed the floor price of silk commodities with immediate effect. All silkworm rearers, reelers, weavers, etc are advised to adhere by the mentioned price list till further notice.
A.    Jethua Muga Cocoon
1.    Grade - A    -        Rs. 1300/- per 1000 nos
2.    Grade - B    -        Rs. 800/- per 1000 nos
3.    Grade - C    -        Rs. 600/- per 1000 nos
B.    Eri cut/pierced Cocoon
1.    Grade - A    -        Rs. 350/- per kg
2.    Grade - B     -        Rs. 300/- per kg  
3.    Grade - C    -        Rs. 200/- per kg
C.    Mulberry green Cocoon
1.    Bivoltine, Grade - A    -    Rs. 200/- per kg
2.    Multi x Bivoltine, Grade - B    -    Rs. 180/- per kg
3.    Multi x Multi, Grade - C    -    Rs. 160/- per kg
D.    Raw Silk
1. Muga raw silk        -    Rs. 10,000/- per kg
2. Mulberry raw silk        -    Rs. 2800/- per kg
3. Eri spun silk        -    Rs. 1000/- per kg.
