Inter battalion Volleyball competition

Dimapur, July 31 (MExN): Inter-battalion Volleyball competition of the training battalions of ARTC & S was held at Sukhovi from July 26 to 30. The final match of the competition was held on July 30. Brig D Anbu, YSM, SM was the chief guest on the occasion. In the keenly contested five-setter No. 1 (Lakhimpur) Training Battalion defeated No. 2 (Diphu) Training Battalion by three sets to nil. The final scores were 25/15, 25/21 and 25/10.   The chief guest presented the championship trophy to No. 1 (Lakhimpur) Training Battalion and distributed medals and prizes to the players and the conducting staff.
