BCCI Associate members trophy 2011 - 2012
DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 7 (MExN): Nagaland Cricket Association has participated in all the three categories (under-16, under-19, under 22) of the BCCI Associate & Affiliate Members Trophy. This tournament is organized by the BCCI for the development of Cricket among the Associate members of East Zone comprising of Chattisgarh, Bihar, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Nagaland.
Under-16 Category
Nagaland won two matches against Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh and lost two matches against Chattisgarh and Manipur. The tournament was won by Chattisgarh.
Under-19 Category
Nagaland lost against Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim and won only against Manipur. The tournament was won by Chattisgarh.
Under-22 category
Nagaland won only against Arunachal Pradesh and lost against Meghalaya and Manipur. The tournament was won by Manipur.
Meanwhile, NCA general secretary, Abu Metha has informed all the district cricket associations to submit their activity report of 2010 and the list of district office bearers along with the NCA registration fees of Rs 500 in the form of demand draft in favour of “Nagaland Cricket Association” latest by February 15, 2012
