Chekrovolü, Thupuvoyi to participate in Asian Grand Prix

Kohima | February 13: Ace archer of the country Chekrovolü Swüro including Thupuvoyi Swüro has qualified at the selection trials for Ist Asian Grand Prix –Bangkok, that took place at SAI, NSEC, Kolkata from February 5 to 8 last.
With this, both will participate at the Ist Asian Grand Prix Archery Champ at Bangkok, Thailand from February 14 to 20, according to Nagaland Archery Association.
Earlier, Chekrovolü Swüro bagged Gold medal in 70 Meters and silver medal in 50 metre, while Thupuvoyi Swüro won bronze medal in 50 metre at the recently concluded 32nd Sahara Senior National Archery Championship held at Jamshedpur, Jharkhand from January 24 to 29 last. Meanwhile, Nagaland Archery Association (NAA) joint secretary Hunezo Thisa on behalf of the Association congratulated the duo and wished them all success.
