Agape College sports meet inaugurated

Dimapur, August 4 (MExN): Agape College held its 22nd sports inaugural programme on August 3 at the college campus. Apeto Assumi, president WSGB was the chief guest and the programme was attended by Padum Pukhuri Council Chairman Vitoka and Padum Pukhuri GB Kakhuo with elders of the village. The chief guest encouraged the students saying that ‘sports is the vehicle for peace, justice and development’ and donated Rs. 20,000.
The programme was presided by Peleseno, lecturer; invocation was pronounced by Khiantsu, lecturer; welcome song by College choir lead by Chandeno Odyou, lecturer; welcome address by Dr. Akok, vice principal and benediction by Dr. Benia, academic dean. The sporst advisors are MK Koshilning Maring, lecturer and Secretary Taipho Konyak and assistant secretary Elizabeth.
