Bagchi for development of motor sports in NE
Kohima, December11 (MExN): Ashis Bagchi (58), from Kolkata, was the oldest participant of the recently concluded JK Type Hornbill Motor Rally 2012.
Bagchi has been engaged in Motor Sports for 37 years.
Talking to The Morung Express, Bagchi said “I will always encourage youngsters to take part in this kind of Motor sports event and I am keen to support them for development of motor sports especially in North East.”
He also appreciated the young participants from North East in a big number “which is very good for promotion of motor sports in our country today.”
Pleased by the atmosphere of the Hornbill Festival, Bagchi also stated that he will come back next year too.
