Industrial Village Raziiphe responds to news item

This is to certify the news item published in the Morung Express under the heading “Govt. Truck meets with accident” Dated 20th Nov. 2009 questioning sic “what is baffling is how can people go to a private land under NREGA?” In this connection it is clarified that a section of job cards holders held from Industrial village Raziiphe Dimapur are on their way to work site at New Chiimukedi ‘B’ Horti. Farming Area which area was acquired by Shri. T.L. Angami for Industrial Village Razhiiphe community farming. Therefore, the question to work under a private land as stated by the reporter is baseless and regrettable. We also request the reporters to ascertain the fact from the Village Council before it is published in the paper.
Meanwhile, we on behalf of the Village Council and VDB express our heartfelt gratitude to all those who came forward to help the injured person on that fateful day. We specially thank Pangnyu Phom Hon’ble Parliamentary Secretary RD & REPA, Shri. Mestubo Jamir Director RD Nagaland, Project Director (DRDA) Dimapur, BDO Medziphema Block and staffs, Shri. Maongwati Aier Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, Shri. Liremo Lotha SP Dimapur, OC East and OC Traffic and their subordinate staffs, Doctors and nurses from Dimapur Civil Hospital, Zion Hospital, Dimapur Hospital Paul Complex, Faith Hospital, Shamrock Hospital and Metro Hospital for rendering their valuable services to save the lives of the injured person. We pray for the speedy recovery of the injured persons and also convey our deepest sympathy and share the grief with the bereaved family of Lt. Wati Ao.
In the meantime, we the Village Council of Raziiphe request the law enforcing agency to take proper action against the erring driver as per the law of the land.
