SCERT informs

Kohima, November 26 (MExN): The director of State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) in a press note has informed that as a corrigendum it had issued in July 2009 of the prescribed school text books to be used for the academic year 2010, the following rectifications have been effected owing to certain unforeseen compulsions:
z  The title ‘Cheery Blossoms’ I & II to be used in place of “Stepping Stones to Learning English” book I & II for classes I and II respectively.
z  The current language textbook “Avenues” to be retained instead of the “New Learning to Communicate” by the Oxford University Press.
z  The title of class of class VIII grammar book should be read “Enjoying Grammar” and not “Grammar World”.
