Film on Netaji screened in Dimapur



DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 1 (MExN): Film screening on “Netaji with the Nagas- The last camp in India” jointly organized by the Nagaland Centre for Human Development & Information Technology and the Naga Council Dimapur was held today at Rotary Club Auditorium, Dimapur. Sedevikho Khro, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Expressing his views on the screening of the film, the chief guest appreciated the film author for bringing out the mystery of Netaji through the film. He said that though the country did not recognize the contribution of Netaji “the fact cannot be denied that Netaji did something great for India”. P T Aienla Lemtor, Executive Director, Nagaland Centre for Human Development & Information Technology gave a brief highlight about the film. She said that the main aim of the documentary film was to keep Netaji work and his name alive. “It is also to let the world know that Netaji was with the Naga and the Naga has done a lot for freedom struggle”, she added. Vekho Swuro, Executive Engineer, Producer of the film stated that the object of the film was to make people aware of the great contribution of Netaji in the freedom struggle. He also stated that all living witnesses have giving the live interview during the shooting of the film. Bebratha Biswas, (Ex-MP), General Secretary, All India Forward Block in his brief address appreciated the film author for his noble venture.
