Nagaland complementary health services body formed
Kohima, March 17 (MExN): The Nagaland Complementary Health Services Association (NCHSA) has formally registered under the motto ‘Onward to a healthier society’. The Association comprises of employees in the health service from the programme/wings and bureau of Information, Education, Communication (IEC) Bureau, National Vector Borne Diseases Control Programme, National Leprosy Eradication Programme, Nagaland Food Safety & Standards (Analysis wing), Nagaland Food Safety and Standards (Enforcement Wing), National Programme for Control of Blindness, Universal Immunization Programme, Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme and Sanitary Inspectors.
As its maiden endeavour, the NCHSA is pursuing the constitution of the Nagaland Complementary Health Service Rules. The office bearers of the Association include president M James Richa, vice president Samuel Zehol, general secretary Kikolul Khieya, joint secretary Bendangsenla, treasurer Ketholeho Kulnu, finance secretary Kikrukhrielie Solo, information & publicity secretary N Limala Aier, statistical secretary Neivolhounuo and R Rocus Chasie as advisor.
All the concerned members of the services are expected to give full cooperation participation in its common endeavour by paying membership fee of Rs.200 and fund contribution of Rs.500 per member at the earliest. Those who do not cooperate will have to bear consequences as per the decision of the Association, the release added.
