PHED clarifies over Zaru Water Supply Project

Dimapur, February 17 (MExN): Chief Engineer, PHED Mhondamo Ovung has clarified in regard to Zaru Water Supply Project that the department has issued the work orders for the major items of work, such as Pumping System and Treatment Plant to one Vilelie Khamo; and the work is already in active progress.
This clarification was given in response to the “appraisal by an esteemed reader “in a local daily. The note further stated: “…the work of laying the Rising Main is being fitted by the departmental field staff; which is also ongoing. It may also be clarified that since all work items cannot be taken up simultaneously, the implementation of any scheme is done in optimized step-by-step work schedule (in order of priority in terms of technical synchronization and fund flow). This Optimized Work Progress Scheduling is also technically termed as “Bar Chart “ and in specialized/advanced planning it is termed as “Critical Path Method (CPM)”, and which the department is following.”
