Three killed in car accident
Aizawl, Aug 3 (NNN): A taxi carrying six passengers met with an accident Bungbangla locality, 5 km from Aizawl this morning. Three persons died of the accident and the other injured are admitted in the Aizawl Civil Hospital.
Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla, as soon as he came to know the accident, rushed to the hospital where he made necessary arrangement.
Church Elder Zorammuana (60) and his son Zosangliana from Serchhip P&E village died in the accident. Transportation of their bodies to Serchhip was arranged by the Chief Minister, who also expressed his deep condolence to the bereaved family.
Pi Vansangzuali (50), resident of Thingsul village also succumbed to her injury at the hospital. R.Lalzirliana, state Home Minister made arrangement for vehicle to take her dead body home.
All the incident identified as Nicky Vanlalhriata (6), Lalhlimpuii(17) and Vanlalmawipuii (36), from Serchhip village, are now being hospitalized. Lalrinmawia Ralte, Parliamentary Secretary also visited them at the hospital.
