Tuensang, August 22 (MExN): The first coordination meeting of the newly selected officer bearer of the Senior Citizen’s Union of Tuensang (SCUT) was held on August 14 at Tuensang Town All Ward Conference Hall.
SCUT in a press release stated that the coordination meeting resolved to start enrolment of the senior citizen of Tuensang town from all wards and entrusted the President, All Ward Union Tuensang to collect Rs 100 as registration and membership fee from all senior citizen.
The meeting resolved to re-organize the Union. The house elected Impongsoted as President, T. Neolo Khiam as General Secretary and executives including Chuba Sangtam; Among Yimchunger; P. Heno Khiam and H. Takam Chang. Advisory to the union will be Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, District Welfare Officer Tuensang and Presidents, Tuensang District GB’s Union. The new team was re-organized on September 24, 2018 at the meeting in GB’s Hall, Tuensang town following the demise of its President and Secretary.
