Alder College Kohima celebrated its 7th Annual Cultural Day on February 23
Kohima, February 23 (MExN): The Alder College Kohima today celebrated its 7th Annual Cultural Day. Under the theme “Embracing Our Similarities, Celebrating our Differences,” the event showcased a variety of traditional performances, consisting of songs and dances.
A special highlight of the event was the traditional attires that decorated both the participants and the spectators. The event saw the rich and vibrant colours of different tribes and ethnic groups come together beautifully.
Adela Moa, Director of Art and Culture, Government of Nagaland graced the occasion as the guest of honour. She appreciated the theme that emphasised celebrating differences. Citing the Hornbill festival, she mentioned that cultural events are able to bring Nagas together.
The event also had a cultural feast, followed by traditional games.
