Dimapur, July 28 (MExN): In order to take effective measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, Dimapur Deputy Commissioner Anoop Khinchi has ordered the sealing of three locations in Dimapur with immediate effect.
A July 28 order from the DC sealed a residence in Kyong Colony, Dimapur and a rented house (ground floor) at NST Colony, City Tower, Dimapur, until further notice. The other sealed location is the State Bank of India (Evening Branch) at NL Road, Dimapur.
The DC cautioned that any person violating the containment measures will be liable to be proceeded as per the provisions of Section 51 to 60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 besides legal action under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code.
Eden ICU, Shamrock and residence at Dhobinala unsealed
Meanwhile, the DC ordered the ‘unsealing’ of the ICU block at Eden Medical Centre, Dimapur and Shamrock Hospital, Dimapur, after staff at both the facilities tested negative for COVID-19.
In an order dated July 28, the DC also said that household members of the house in Ward No-18, Zeliangrong Colony (Dhobinalla) tested negative and unsealed the house and the nearby building.
