Working on ‘war footing’ for early completion of BSL lab in Dimapur:  Pangnyu

Dimapur, May 23 (MExN): Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Minister, S Pangnyu Phom today said that lab technicians are working on “war footing” to ensure early completion the state’s second Biosafety Level (BSL) laboratory in Dimapur. 


 He informed this after inspecting the ongoing constructions of BSL-2 laboratory at Christian Institute Of Health Sciences & Research (CIHSR), 4th Mile, Dimapur on May 23. 


He was accompanied by Advisor to IPR, SCERT & VG, Toshi Wungtung 


“The Lab mission continue. Reviewed the ongoing work for setting up of BSL-2 Lab at CIHSR, Dmp, visited the site along with Hon'ble Advisor @Toshi  Wungtung. (sic),” he tweeted afterwards. 


He further stated that “the lab Technicians are working on war footing to ensure for early completion” adding, “Have appraised to maintain workmanship.”


It must be mentioned here that Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio Rio inaugurated the state’s first BSL-3 laboratory at Naga Hospital Authority, Kohima on May 21.
