KBAN Theological Students' Fellowship holds first meet

Kuki Baptist Association Nagaland Theological Students' Fellowship held its first theological meet at KBAN Mission Center, Khaibung, Chümoukedima on May 21 and 22.

Kuki Baptist Association Nagaland Theological Students' Fellowship held its first theological meet at KBAN Mission Center, Khaibung, Chümoukedima on May 21 and 22.

Chümoukedima, May 28 (MExN): The Kuki Baptist Association Nagaland Theological Students' Fellowship held its first theological meet at KBAN Mission Center, Khaibung, Chümoukedima on May 21 and 22. Around 25 “theologically trained” persons from the Association attended the programme, stated a press release received here. 

The inaugural prayer was said by Rev David Vaiphei, Executive Secretary KBAN. Three Reverends from the Association namely Rev Lamkhotong Singson, Rev H Minlen Singson and Rev Lamkholun Singson addressed the meet. 

Paper presentations were done by Richard P Haolai and Lalboi Singsit, Pastor KBC Dimapur on the topics of “Nationalism and the Church” and “The Rise of Theological Graduates and Enlarging the Sites of our Tents: Biblical and Theological Reflections” respectively. 

Recreational activities were led by Rev Lamkholun Singson, Secretary KBAYD and Neisy Hengna, Secretary, KBAWD. At the last service, the Fellowship congratulated ten new theological graduates with Certificates of Appreciation. Prayer for them and four new candidates for theological study was led by Rev David Vaiphei, ES, KBAN.

The meet was closed with a benediction pronounced by Rev David Vaiphei, ES KBAN.
