Kohima: Rural Development holds consultative meeting of PDs, BDOs

Kohima, February 28 (MExN): The Department of Rural Development today held a consultative meeting of PDs and BDOs with RD Commissioner & Secretary Kevisa Kense at RD Conference Hall, Kohima.
During the meeting, power point presentation of physical achievements and financial progress of various programmes including XVFC, RGSA, Grant-in-Aid, PMAY-G and MGNREGA were highlighted by respective programme officers which was followed by discussion and interactive session.

Addressing the meeting, Kense encouraged the officers to take their roles as officers seriously and keep themselves updated to carry out their duties efficiently and to uplift the department and to make positive impact in the lives of the rural people.

He also emphasized on the importance of good performance and urged them to share their grievances which can then be rectified.
RD director Azenuo Pienyü maintained that the motive behind the consultative meeting is to discuss core issues and problems and also to share each other’s achievements to enhance the performances of each district.

She reminded that everyone present holds a very important position in the department and to take up their roles and responsibilities sincerely.
The meeting was chaired by RD director Azenuo Pienyu while vote of thanks was proposed by RD joint director Taliyanger.
