Alumni Association’s Road Project at Patkai Christian College

The Principal of Patkai Christian College (Autonomous), Dr Thepfuvilie Pieru inaugurates a portion of the paved road connecting the college’s old campus with the administrative building on May 17. The road, covering nearly half a kilometre, was constructed by the Alumni Association PCC (AAPCC) as a part of its second phase of the campus road project. In 2017, the Association started the project to repair the dilapidated road inside the campus and the first phase covered 260 metres. The road project is funded by contributions from various quarters, including faculty & staff, students, alumni and well-wishers as well as proceeds from the cafeteria being operated by the AAPCC. According to the AAPCC, the third phase would begin when all accounts for the 2nd phase are settled, and further requested support for the road project from alumni and others to complete the whole stretch.
