This COVID-19 crisis is bringing out the 'true colors' of the Naga society. We can go on and on about the incompetence, corruption of the government, which is crystal clear.
Nagaland as bluntly put, is for people with money and power.
My appeal is for the common men; let us not divide ourselves at this point in time whether it be along tribal lines.
An entire district (tribe) has nothing to do with the illogical decisions taken by some in position of power out of fear and stupidity.
Let's get through this crisis together first, stand with the frontline workers, volunteers (they are the true heroes of this crisis), not stigmatise the infected, show compassion and love wherever possible BUT let's not forget how our own 'leaders' have truly shown their complete incompetence, inadequacy, incapabilties.
Also the recent fiasco where a charter plane landed in Dimapur and the authorities had zero data of the returnees really says a lot.
And the fact that they were given option for "paid quarantine facility" is just a slap on the face of the hundreds who are stuck in pseudo-quarantine centres provided by the Government.
Let's all open our eyes and really 'see' who the enemy of the Naga people is.
