The final countdown has began and there is hardly a couple of days left to bid Adieu to the year 2005, since the last working day for the offices under the Government of Nagaland is 21st December; it has become a daily ritual to curiously flip the morning newspaper hoping against hope to get a glimpse of the advertisement for the post of NCS & Allied Services.
Yet the advertisement which was due in the month of Oct.-Nov. 2005 is still elusive. We aspiring candidates who got over aged in 2005 are becoming apprehensive that we might be deprived of the last chance to sit for the coveted NCS exam.
Therefore, we earnestly appeal to the August Commission to advertise the requisitioned posts at the earliest. If at all the advertisement cannot be made due to unavoidable circumstances, it is our humble appeal to set the cut off date for upper age limit on 1st Jan. 2005 for the greater interest of justice.
