The on-going Chümoukedima District Football League (first edition) came alive on the second day as a flutter of goals were scored during the three matches of Monday’s fixture. 

In the match between Chümoukedima FC (CFC) and Piphema United FC (PUFC), Limakumzuk Ao of CFC claimed the first hat-trick of the league by scoring two back-to-back goals in the first half. This was followed by Manton (CFC), contributing another two goals for his team while Yhunshalo Kemp and Ao delivered a goal each for CFC in the second half. Thangpong of PUFC was the lone goal scorer for his side. The match ended in a resounding win for Chümoukedima FC as the final tally showed a clear 6-1 win against their opponents. 

Earlier in the first match, Naga United FC (NUFC) thumbed Eimi Brother’s FC (EBFC) 6-0 as two goals came from the boots of Devika (NUFC). Katoho, Vikashe and Kulutso of NUFC provided a goal each while an own goal from EBFC sealed their fate for the match.  

In the second match, United Falcon FC (UFFC) won over Gorkha Panthers FC (GPFC) 3-0 as Nourhielhoulie scored two goals and Komezo delivered another for UFFC.
