Gen Thenoselie who is still an NNC member has been in regular touch with the Collective Leadership. after meeting them earlier in 1987, 1999 and 2002 with the last meeting taking place in January of 2005 at the NSCN GHQ, Camp Hebron.

During the January meeting, Gen Thenoselie had told the Collective Leadership that Nagas must be united. “If we can reason together and talk freely and frankly by meeting face to face and not from a distance and if our approach is humane, there is no reason why we cannot come together,” Gen Thenoselie had then told the NSCN leaders. The General, it may be recalled had been accompanied by Brig Neidilie Kuotsu, Chao Zutsu and Zapuo all part of the group which made the first political and military expedition to China in 1966.
