‘Have unbiased holistic attitude towards life,’ ACP Chümoukedima tells students

Dimapur, September 17 (MExN): The Department of Education, Livingstone Foundation International College, Dimapur organised a Tete-A-Tete session with Ninoto I Zhimomi, ACP Chümoukedima on the theme ‘Reveles Optimum’ (discover your best) on at the LFI Auditorium on September 17. 

A press release from the LFI stated that speaking at the session, Ninoto exhorted the gathering to achieve short term targets without giving up and not just focus on how to set long term goals. He stressed on the importance of focus and conscious effort with concentration. He encouraged the gathering to have an unbiased holistic attitude towards life. He stated that many youths today are misled by social media and influenced to seek for instant gratification, however one should instead try to recognise one’s strength and work on it. Zhimomi ended his lecture by encouraging the students to always be hungry for knowledge and foolish to learn and take in inputs.

The lecture was followed up by interaction where students and faculties asked questions and seek guidance on various career prospects and techniques to prepare for varied exams. 

The programme was chaired by Taliwapang of BA 1st semester and invocation was said by Nilovi, Asst Prof. Dept of Education, special song by Aleminla of BA 1st semester and introductory note by Dr Tainla Mar, Vice Principal, LFIC. The session ended with vote of thanks by Lonjong Ngonyen of BA 3rd semester.
