The recent spurt of fratricidal killing and violence in Nagaland has attracted condemnation from various organization and individual. One can well imagine the condemnation and anger for all these reckless violent is the duty bound of every organization and leaders, but the fact remain that the organization and the individual concern are failing to realize the mystery, how violence and killing got rooted in our Naga society.
Certainly the role of an alien projecting violent need a thorough study and measure be taken to check for further damage, also while welcoming the condemnation statement against violent, the role of condemnation also need a thorough understanding. If the situation violent is taken as an advantage to make condemnation of others base on our likeness and unlikeness then this prejudices and hatred can never bring peace to our land. I am skeptical about the role of organization in Nagaland as to which side they favour. Violence or Peace? It is clear if we do not set ourselves to the right thing we tend to create more tension and confusion, so let us examine ourselves whether we denounce violence or promoting violence.
On the other hand the security forces are appreciated for playing a good Samaritan role and are been blame left and right by the factions accusing for patronizing one faction or the other, which the civil society called it divide and rule policy of the Indian government. Everything good or bad are happening at our nose to see. Should we blame the factions alone for all this violence? Or should we partially own a responsible and think for a corrections of the mistake. Let us be serious with this issues we do not want killing and if we say stop killing, then killing should stop at once, if we are really true to ourselves and to our people then the truth must prevail in our heart for it is only the truth that will set us free.
If proper analysis is made by every organization and individual concern on the present situation with all sincerity and honesty the truth reveals making it quite visible what really is making the Nagas going wrong? But here too the question remains how far the Nagas have been honest in accepting reality. If we ourselves set things straight for the upright realizing our mistake and subject to correction we can contribute critically towards a peaceful future, however plausible statement to expose oneself in the eye of public to resemble the angle is the act of evil responsible for all this unrest, and unless we understand this very fabric of destruction our hue and cry for justice and peace can never be areality. For knowingly or unknowingly we all have become an accused of prorogating hatred and violence.
While questioning the honesty and sincerity of the civil society towards our Naga problem I also want to make the different factions to understand that there are several Nagas who hold the cause of Nagas much dearer than those of you. The Naga people felt pained and bow in shame for the illogical and unrealistic propaganda made by the different group of national workers which is damaging the sanity of our Nagas.
