Kohima, January 22 (MExN): Kikruma Kite Festival billed as 'K2 Fest' was held today at Kikruma village under the theme “Fly Beyond the Walls.”
This event was organized by Zeal Associates.
Speaking on the occasion as special invitee, Nuhuta Tunyi, EAC Pungro impressed upon the people to be determined and give one's best in whatever they do.
The objective of the kite festival is to induce a sense of creativity among people, to approach 'walls' and obstacles in life with a positive mindset, vision and right action, for these are the ideals to success and positive living.
The programme was chaired by Thipuveyo Kezo while Teisovilie Tunyi, President, Zeal Associates delivered the keynote address.
The kite festival was marked best on maneuver, best dressed, best kite design, longest ears/tails, farthest and most passionate flyer. The winners were awarded with attractive prizes.
The programme also witnessed special performance from Zacukho Tetseo ‘aka ZT Slingshot’, Suhulu Tunyi Shijoh, Mezito Zathi Puro, Avi Tunyi and others.
