Wokha September, 4 (MExN): In a Joint meeting of the Kyong academy and the Lotha Literature Committee (LLC), Wokha, held on September 3 in Wokha, discussed the issue of the “so-called Naga Script” and the relation of various Naga tribes and individuals at length. The Kyong academy and the Lotha Literature Committee were of the opinion that the Nagas do not need a script of their own unless all the Naga tribes put their heads together to conceive one. Only such an effort of the Nagas would be acceptable to all, it was stated. The two Kyong bodies have opposed the “Naga script,” stated a note from the chairman of LLC today.
