Maintain accountability and responsibility

Through your esteemed daily I would like to mention that as we are well aware of the benefits provided by the private cellular services providers operating in the state. Here the Private cellular service providers should note the very fact that since there is provisions for issuing 5 connections to each subscribers with valid documents, but did they ever gave a thought to the issue of SIM/S (Subscriber identification module) card, if one or the other are being misused by individuals who had purchased the SIM/s from the first seller or the second sellers. The concerned cellular companies should note this very fact that there is no harm at all with the provisions of issuing 5 connections. It should also be noted that no one uses all the five SIMS, either he uses one or two and the remaining ones  he/she hands it over to his family, relatives or friends as per his/her discretions. There is least or no problems if those very SIMS are handed over to near ones, and there is definite possibility to nab the mis-user’s  of the SIMS as  the registered subscriber can be identified and on his identification the user of that very misused SIMS can be nabbed.

Further It has come to notice that very often the registered subscribers is totally unaware that under his name some of his known person/s had enticed him to hand over his documents, licenses, tc get an official works done such as to obtain license, etc. but had infact used that document/s to obtain SIM cards for earning money in the shortest possible routes under an established identity of an ignorant.

In such cases the easy money mongers sells those obtained SIMS to his customers, some of them known to him and many unknown. In such circumstances who is to be held liable, if there is a misuse, as the registered subscriber is totally ignorant of the episode which is haunting him. Even it has come to the notice that those mongers on being caught express that he had sold to unknown customers. In such circumstances definitely the seller as well as the registered subscriber is to be held liable, but what about that very unknown user/s (culprit) who is using or had used it and had now damaged it to escape from being identified. I had noticed some idiots who say that he had handed over his used SIM to unknown passers by. According to such individuals it seems that SIM is a bowl of rice to be handed over to the passerby beggers as alms. No accountability at all. In such circumstances I can feel the temper of those who are hearing such make unbelievable stories. He seems to be saying to his Granny that he did donated his mere piece of SIM to a poor beggar and earns laurels from his aged granny.

Here without going further on this issue, the moot point which I would like emphasis to let the Private cellular service providers understand is that though profits are fundamental to them, beside it they should also keep account of the exchange and selling of SIMS to a second or third party and the present user of the SIMS with all the necessary valid documents and photos attested. It should also be noted that beside obscene SMS issues or disturbing calls issues, the Nation may be at peril by failure of such responsibility and accountability, at the hands of extremists. This should be kept into account. Further it will create an atmosphere of accountability as well as responsibility on the users and moreover will deter nasty individuals from sending dirty and obscene text as well as picture messages to a stranger/s.  It will also reduce the burden of the investigation teams who faces problems in circumstances when the SIM card/s exchange or selling out takes place three to four hands at a stretch. It is not an unknown development. Accountability and responsibility towards the subscribers and the nation will help the service providers in reaching milestones ahead.
