The report that the killing of Ex-DGP Hesso Mao by NSCN (K) is because of his inability to pay rupees ten lakh as demanded, is too shocking and too inhuman in the real sense of the term. How could a group claiming itself as a group fighting for Naga Sovereignty stoop to so low to act like a criminal gang. This is purely an act of terrorism and therefore, a disgrace for the Naga Society. The whole Nagas should be ashamed of this mindless killing of an innocent Naga dignitary known for his high level of devotion’ to his official duty. It is also too unbecoming of this gang of terrorist to dig up the past to justify their action. If the Thizama incident of many years back when Hesso initiated an operation against NSCN (K) looters is also another reason for the killing, then it is all the more shameful and condemnable in the strongest sense of human consideration.
Nevertheless, the horrible incident is reflective of the terrorist mindset of this Sarkari Gang who has been faithfully serving as a mouthpiece organisation of Indian Intelligent agencies such as RAW, IB etc and also as their killing agent as part of their open agenda to keep the pot of Naga issue boiling. This criminal action of NSCN (K), in retrospect expose the two face of this group as a terrorist and as a criminal. A deadly combination indeed.
Having turned themselves as traitors to the cause, this self interest seeking gang are traitors to the Naga people. They make themselves too vulnerable to be lulled by money and kill anyone for money. For this gang, nothing matters, not sovereignty, but money.
The NSCN (K) Cease-fire Supervisory Board’s attempt to stay distant from Hesso’s killing is obviously not surprising at all. Because within the group of criminals private interest takes precedence over everything and naturally independent act of terrorism goes on with the full blessing of NSCN (K) authority who has all along been the powerful evil enforcing agent of Indian intelligent agencies out to create havoc within Naga society.
It is quite interesting to go through the preaching of NSCN (K) leader Kughalu Mulatuno on solving terrorist problem, and the very day to let his boys do the demonstration on terrorism. What a satanic way of demonstrating his lecture of terrorism. Mulatuno should educate himself that any preaching or argument on any issue should carry at least, some sense of logic to find public acceptance.
Mulatuno’s deception and hypocricy has however made him as the greatest Naga comedian. Please remember that childish way of allegation or preaching has no place in a person’s character of the stature of national leader. His face as a deceptive traitor is an accepted fact now.
It is unfortunate to witness this bloody terrorism with Hesso as the victim of NSCN (K)’s vendetta of terrorism. But things are getting all the more clear that the very existence of this group has become a stain in Naga’s honest struggle for sovereignty. The Naga people should be wary of this group.
Considering the realistic style of NSCN (K) existence as a terrorist gang we strongly condemn the killing of Hesso and appeal to the authority and the Naga as whole to rein on this group before they go for the next target. We also express our deepest sympathy to the bereaved family members of late Hesso and may God give them strength and comfort to go through this great ordeal.
