Fifteen contestants of the forthcoming Miss Northeast Beauty Pageant 2022 under the banner of Northeast Beauty Pageant Organization (NBPO) and host- Beauty & Aesthetic Society of Nagaland (BASN) undertook Charity event in Kohima by selling garments and vegetables on October 29.
This ‘Charity Sale’ was undertaken in aid of Medemer Education Fund for underprivileged children and Children’s Home.
Kohima Deputy Commissioner, Shavavas C graced the event as the special guest.
Miss Northeast Beauty Pageant 2022 will take place on November 3 at Capital Cultural Hall, Kohima.
15 contestants from all eight north eastern states have already arrived Kohima to vie for the prestigious title.
Meanwhile, BASN will also take the contestants to various places including Pfutsero in Phek district to interact with the villagers and to experience the village life.
It also plans to take them around to visit Khonoma village and 2nd World War Cemetery, Kohima Kohima and other locations.
Mentionably, Vuto Hyundai and Floyd Hyundai will jointly sponsor prize money for the winner at Rs 1.50 lakh while MLA Imkong L Imchen and Hero Anak Motors Kohima will sponsor for 1st and 2nd runners up at Rs 1 lakh and Rs 70,000 respectively.
Six subtitle winners- Miss Photogenic, Miss Prefect 10, Queen of Hearts, Miss Talent, Miss Beautiful Skin and Miss Multimedia will get Rs 20,000 each.
The entry tickets at Rs 1000 and Rs 500, will be available at the venue itself and one can also get the same at Symphony Café, Kohima.
