Open letter to Dept of Environment, Forest & Climate Change

This is with reference to the Item No 11 of NPSC Advertisement No. NPSC-1/CTSE/2021 dated 17th Feb 2021. The required educational qualification given for the said post says “The candidate shall hold at least Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Geology, Forestry, Agriculture, Horticulture, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Veterinary & Animal husbandry, Mathematics, Statistics, Mechanical Engineering from a recognised University or equivalent foreign qualification”.

I would like to draw the attention of the said department as to why the bachelor degree in Environmental Science was not included for the said post, which is very much relevant for the positions. It appears that the department is not updated with the various subjects being offered by the universities and colleges that are relevant for the department.

By doing this, the young aspirants from environmental science graduates are being deprived of their rights of being employed in the concern Department.

Urging the department concerned to look into the welfare of the aspirants at the earliest so that they can sit for this exam.

The aspirant cannot remain mute for the department to attain to their realisation for future addition, if Open letter to the Department of Environment, Forest & Climate Change.
