SASU appeals

Kohima, July 6 (MExN): The Seyochung Area Students’ Union (SASU) stated that the Primary Health Centre (PHC), Seyochung Town, for more than two decades, has been functioning without having proper equipments and medical facilities, “most significant even a Doctor.”
The Union said the villagers are having a miserable condition as they have to travel a hundred of miles to diagnosis the exact of illness whether it is a minor or major, which it said, resulted a total wastage of time and money. The Union also lamented that it has not receive an ambulance where all other health centre under Kiphire district has been received from last year, “which, it clearly signifies a total negligence of our area and people in general.”
In this respect, the Union strongly appealed to concerned authority to take up the matter as early as possible of appointing a doctor and issue of ambulance to PHC, Seyochung Town. The Union said the Seyochung Town is covered up by 13 villages and many other neighboring villages depending on PHC Seyochung Town.
