“Despite the severe limitations, the government of the day has put all the available resources to contain and meet the challenges of covid-19 pandemic. Kudos to all the front line workers for their efforts and putting their life on the line for the well-being of fellow Nagas. It is a testing time for all. However, the prevailing fear psychosis and stigma associated with the covid-19 pandemic is equally dreadful. It should be contained with equal urgency as it is being dealt with the pandemic. Proactive sensitisation of the people through multimedia and community programs is necessary to overcome this  challenge. Civil societies and social workers can play a big role in spreading awareness. Discrimination and profiling of the patient and front line workers will only bring pain to the already distressed person and the family members. Lend a humane touch and support one another. Together, we can overcome"
