Mokokchung, November 16 (MExN): Employees of the District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) Mokokchung have called for a total shutdown of the DRDA Mokokchung office with effect from November 16.
According to a press statement from the employees of the DRDA Mokokchung, due to non-payment of salary for the past 9 months (from February2021 to October 2021), they had taken up the matter with the higher authorities.
However, they stated that no positive response had been received due to which, the aggrieved employees have decided to call for a total shut down of office with effect from November 16 till the issue is resolved.
“Any inconvenience to the general public during this period is regretted,” they stated.
