WC, NNPGs extends Christmas greetings

Dimapur, December 20 (MExN): The Working Committee, Naga National Political Groups (WC, NNPGs) has conveyed festive greetings to the Naga people.

“Let this festive season remind each one us of who we are in the eyes of God and man,” stated WC, NNPGs Convenor N Kitovi Zhimomi in a message issued on Sunday.

“God did not choose the powerful and the mighty to fulfil His greatest promise on Humanity. A lowly province in Israel called Judea, a sleepy town called Bethlehem, an unkempt carpenter called Joseph, a simple village damsel called Mary. How little and insignificant were these places and inhabitants in the eyes of fellow beings? The plan of God is beyond human wisdom and understanding. God chooses the heart and not the outer appearance of man,” the message read.

Stating that Christmas is a special time to recall and cherish the love of God in our personal and professional lives and a time for families and relatives to strengthen and renew bonds, it said that, “meaningful reconciliation and forgiveness must be nurtured in our hearts for our fellowmen.”

It further conveyed gratitude to all Nagas, transcending international boundaries; Naga friends and well-wishers across the world, for the support and solidarity extended to the Naga people.
