It has come to our attention that a certain person by the name of Richard has voiced his opinion/accused Kuda Village C Khel of irrationality in dealing with dog menace. First and foremost, it should be clear that whatever decision was taken had arisen out of repeated incidents and consultations. As pet owners and dog lovers one should justly own a pet by providing tt security and care. Dogs at large roaming freely are signs of irresponsible pet owners who have no regard for the wellbeing and safety of the animal and society. It poses a threat to motorist, school going children (numerous reports of kids bitten by dogs), hygiene of the neighbourhood, etc.

It may be mentioned that before any decree was formulated, many responsible pet owners who own and understand their responsibility as pet owners has successfully owned pets without becoming a nuisance to public. Especially in a place like C Khel with dense population, it is a pressing need for every individual willing to keep pets to also accept the responsibility to assure safety of both public and the pet. There are several options of breeds to choose according to the space and environment you can provide for the particular dog otherwise you should not even consider keeping a pet because that will be unjust even towards the animal. There are also options of neutering your pet which is a common practice if you want to avoid unwanted straying during matting seasons. Though it is normal for dog owners to vaccinate their pets, it doesn't help when bitten by rabid dogs and the situation is made worse when there are too many free roaming dogs during these situations.

We are aware and skeptical of people taking advantage of similar rules and going on a shooting spree on the slightest of pretext. However, with caution and evaluation of the problem, stringent actions need to be taken because no matter what some just doesn't care. It is unfortunate that we don't have the resources like the more advanced countries have where stray dogs are caught and kept in facilities until rescued or culled.
