‘God's miraculous work awaits the Naga nation and the Naga people’

Ato Kilonser GPRN/NSCN & Convener WC, NNPGs

I give glory and honour to our Lord Almighty Jehovah for his grace and mercy. Respected Naga Shisha Hoho Chairman and Lord's servant Rev Puduhu and God's many anointed prophets under Shisha Hoho, FNR Convener Rev Dr Wati and team, NBCC and tribal affiliates, Apex Naga Civil society leaders, esteemed leaders from various Naga political groups, wonderful natives of Kutsapo Village, ladies and gentlemen.

I convey sincere apologies to all the distinguished leaders for my absence. Nevertheless, I wish to reassure this August assembly that from the inception, WC, NNPGs is built upon three Ts; Trust, Transparency and Teamwork. We are an extension of each other and therefore WC leaders present with you have my blessings and approval to deliberate on all issues pertaining to common Naga aspiration. God is our witness and I have great faith and hope that there is God's miraculous work awaiting the Naga nation and the Naga people.

Dear Naga leaders and friends, I recall In July 1997 many Church leaders and Naga political leaders had converged at Atlanta in the USA, facilitated by North American Baptist Peace Fellowship. FNR convener Rev Dr Wati Aier played a sublime role in bringing out the "ATLANTA APPEAL". Somewhere Government of India (GoI) got wind of it and played dirty politics. It suddenly announced and signed cease-fire with NSCN (IM) and so the misfortune of Naga people continues to this day. Naga reconciliation process have taken us to Bangkok and other cities in Thailand, New Delhi & Kolkata in India, countless times within Nagaland. We need to stop being tourists and journeymen. We also cannot have a culture of issuing joint declarations by top leaders and nullify the same after days by different crop of leaders. We cannot play cruel jokes with God or with our people.

Someday our actions will be questioned. It is time for us to seek real reasons and find real answers to our common problem through honest and fearless debate in the fear of the Lord.

Lastly, I have a strong feeling that today's gathering is going to be a historic one that will give great hope to our people. I pray God will mightily use every person as His powerful instrument for the healing and transformation of our land. Thank you.
God bless Nagaland!
