Dimapur, September 30 (MExN): The office of the G.Bs & DBs Joint Forum Working Committee, Kiphire issued an ultimatum apprising the President FGN/NNC to take immediate necessary steps to comply with its demand. The ultimatum stated that appropriate action must be taken upon T.V Litsaba, Dy. Kilo Affairs and subsequent release of his termination order within 15 days from the date of issue of this order and added that failure to comply the Joint Forum Order, the entire Kiphire District shall stop cooperating towards NNC/FGN i.e. withdrawing all sorts of taxation towards the FGN Government.
The Joint Forum stated that the performance and conduct of T.V Litsaba, Dy. Kilo Affairs as a nation worker needs to be observed seriously. The note issued by the Forum said that Litsaba was serving as Secretary GBs Association Kiphire District and then appointed as Joint Secretary Nagaland GB Federation, but during this tenure as Secretary GBs Association, misuse of office fund and many other related matters had greatly damaged the image of GBs Association Kiphire District. The note then stated that without information, Litsaba joined the NNC/FGN without submitting his resignation letter to the Association which has greatly harmed the sentiments of the GBs of Kiphire District.
Again after joining the NNC/FGN as a Dy. Secy, he started collecting ` 200/- per head from the non-locals of Kiphire Town. When the Joint Forum came to learn about the collection, he was summoned before the Joint Forum court and restrictions were put on him to stop collecting the tax but again under threat of death to the non-locals he collected the remaining amount overruling the court judgment order again. On September 18, 2010, T.V Litsaba also threatened the DPO (DRDA) Kiphire of death without any relevant reason the Joint Forum Court summoned him and imposed a fine of ` 50,000 but again he overruled their court judgment order and without putting his signature disappeared from Kiphire town.
