Be happy, young man while you are young, and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth. Follow the ways of your heart and whatever your eyes see but know that all these things God will bring into judgment. Ecclesiastes 11:9
The youths of our nation are the future of our nation. The condition of our nation will be determined by what our youth becomes. In regard to this we are not ignorant of the danger many are in. when youths die youth their mothers grieve over them their whole life through. I consider youths as a gift and unique creation of God. The purpose of this unique gift is that we use it for the glory of God. One truth we have to be aware of is that we are created in His image to be like Him in all our walks of life. If this message is for us we have to live by the truths of it. God’s message to us in this crucial time is that we honor God with our life. God speaks to us in different ways but for the same purpose. Every truthful message we hear should be applied in our lives.
The focal point of this write up is to encourage our youths to build a better tomorrow for a better future. Being aware of the conditions set before us, we have to overcome the challenges to be beneficiaries of the promises. If we live and die in sin we will be destined to suffer the torments of hell. The life we are blessed with is a gift from God.
We think what we see and we do what think. We become the person that we allow ourselves to become. The life of sin is what we embrace and the curses of God’s wrath will be what we receive. The gift of free will has led many to the pit of destruction. Often we choose sin to enjoy sin. Its sad that this is the condition our youths are in. the truth is we can party today and die the next day. This attitude of worldliness is an attitude for destruction. Some things can best be understood without actually saying the exact words. the Word warns us that if we indulge in sexual immorality, debauchery, idolatry witch craft, hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambitions, dissensions, factions, envy drunkenness, orgies and the likes, we will never enter the kingdom of heaven. We have to stop sinning and have to start living for God. The truth of the matter is that the more our sins grow, the harder it will be to get out of it. If we invest in sin, the dark forces will strengthen their base in our lives.
In this period of crisis it is important that we rise up to face the challenges of life. A lot can be done and a lot had been said of what should be done. When we are in the prime of our youth we are likely to be influenced by the ways and the cultures of the world. As long as we are in the flesh, the desires of the flesh will always try to gain control over us. We should always remember that if we give our best to God now, the best of God’s blessings will come back to us. If we invest in righteousness now, the end result will benefit us in a number of ways. Give your best to god that you may not regret in the future. Stop the acts of sin which offends God. Remember time is short and we may die when we are in sweet slumber. This is not a sarcastic gesture but this is a prophetic warning of all that is yet to come.
As I write this with tears in my eyes, it is my prayer that you will accept the written words of the Word of Life. You won’t always be young and you won’t always be fortunate as you are now. A time may come when you may grieve over your past sins but it may be too late.
The scripture states “Fear God and keep His commandments for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every deed into judgment including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil. Ecclesiastes 12:13-14. The wrath of God will befall on the sons and daughters of wickedness but the love of God will be on those who loves God. If you are still in a relationship with sin, you may end up in the lake of fire but if you repent of your wickedness and turn to Him, you will not only be forgiven but you will be assured of a life with Him. The Church waits to see the best of you and God desires you be the best. Honor God and save yourself. The Church of Christ prays for you as the Spirit of awaits you.
