An on spot stitching competition took place during the two-day long Naga Tailoring and Allied Trade Show under the theme “Nurturing Naga Tailors and Fashion Designers” in Kohima. In Blazer category, Shosane Swuro bagged the first position. Reema T Swu, Japuno Zinyu and Vetsukholu bagged first position in the category of Dress, Tops and Trousers respectively. JACK China No. 1 was the official sponsor of the 1st prize.
The winners received 1 industrial lockstitch sewing machine each. It may be recalled that the Naga Tailoring and Allied Trade Show under the aegis of the Association of Naga Tailors (ANT) was held from April 12 to 13 last.
The two daylong event was marked by exhibitions, sales, free consultations from all exhibitors, competitions, workshops, plenary sessions, admission to tailoring and designing institutes, book launch, recruitment etc.
