Nagaland has travelled a long distance: Rajeev Chandrasekhar

Dimapur, February 21 (MExN): Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Rajeev Chandrasekhar today said Nagaland has travelled a long distance in the five years than it did in the previous six decades. 

He said that “the BJP-NDPP alliance wants to continue this progress, peace, development and investments in the state, to create more jobs for the youth of Nagaland.” The Minister made these comments while campaigning for H Khehovi, BJP candidate from the Suruhuto AC, stated an update from BJP. 

“PM Modi Ji’s vision is India Decade, it should also be Nagaland’s Decade, this will be done by more investment in infra, roads, hospitals & healthcare facilities,” he stated.

The Minister interacted with village elders and karyakartas over meals. He also joined the dancers from the Sumi Tribe and matched a few steps with them.

This is his fourth visit to Nagaland in the past one year. The Minister will be returning to Delhi in the evening.
