National Awakening Crusade held at Chedema Peace Camp

DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 28 (MExN): The National Spiritual Awakening Crusade was held at Chedema Peace Camp under the theme ‘Revive the Nation’ (Psalm 2:8) from November 25 to 28. 

Speakers of the crusade were  Rev Dr N Paphino, Vice President, Nagaland Joint Christian Forum (NJCF); Rev Dr Vezopa Tetseo, Sr Pastor; Chakhesang Baptist Church Diphupar; Rev Dr Moses Murry, Treasurer, NJCF; Rev Ahoshe Sema, Sr. Pastor, Sumi NCRC Dimapur; Rev Imcha Wati, NCRC Missionary At-large; Rev Vikuo Rhi, Youth Secretary, NBCC; Visasieü Dolie, Women Secretary, NBCC; and Rev Thekrulezo Nagi, Supervisor, Projects & Development, NBCC. 

Praise & Worship was led by Neilhou and friends from the Logos College Dimapur. Choirs and singing groups were from Gareiphema, Ura Village, Chedema, and SRM Task Force als performed. Persons involved leading the devotions and counseling were Pastor Neingurazo Nagi, Rev Kevimese Suohu, Dr Yato Whiso, Pastor Kezha Dzüvichü, Pastor Yhunselo Kent, Lahie Krose, and Enoli Medovino Phizo. Prayer Teams are from five prayer centres namely: Kipfüzho CRC, Naga Shisha Hoho, Chokriba Naga National Prayer House, Yorüba Prayer House, and Nagaland for Christ Seithekie Basa also particpiated.

Based on the theme ‘Revive the Nation’ (Psalm 2:8), all the speakers emphasized that to revive the nation must first revive oneself through the power of the Holy Spirit. “One should first repent from sinful nature, confess one’s misdeeds, forgiving others, and humble before God, shall truly bring revival into the family, church and nation. Building firm foundation of faith on the solid rock-that is, on JESUS, can only withstand at the end of the day,” they stated.

The crusade was initiated by the Self Reliance Mission (SRM) under the leadership of Akho Meru, Convenor, SRM, while the four days National Spiritual Awakening Crusade was conducted under the supervisor of Rev Thekrulezo Nagi as Crusade Director, and Diethosielie Zhasa as Assistant Director.

On behalf of the organizing committee the Crusade Secretary Rev Vikuo Rhi thanked all the Speakers and other program participants for their words of God and encouragement. He also thanked all those who were part this crusade.
