NICSE marks 12 yrs with new centre in Dimapur

The National Institute for Civil Services Examination (NICSE) commemorated its 12thyear today by inaugurating the institute’s fifth centre— City Tower Centre in Dimapur.

It was dedicated by the Associate Pastor of Lotha Baptist Church Dimapur, Benlangthung Yanthan. Managing Director, Suman Saha inaugurated the centre which will be the institute’s third branch in Dimapur.

Addressing the gathering during the launch, Saha pledged that he and his team will serve the society in every manner. He acknowledged the faculty for its dedication and efforts rendered since its inception in 2013. Saha maintained that the NICSE has never been just a coaching institute, but that it considers itself bringing about the ‘much needed change’ in the state.

While declaring to have mentored hundreds of officers, the institute hopes to change the thoughts of the people and bring about development with good infrastructure, roads and revamp the education system. “No matter what we do, we don't lie to the people of Nagaland. These people are my people,” he maintained.

During the event, Dr Bordoloi, one of the oldest faculty member since the initial years also spoke of his association with the institute.

Chubalemba B Chang, who recently cracked the UPSC, 2023 Civil Service Exam also spoke at the event. He has been a faculty member since 2022.Securing an All India Rank 915, Chang was felicitated by the institute. Speaking to The Morung Express, Chang expressed satisfaction with his work experience at the institute. He emphasised the need to effectively balance work and study through smart time management. He acknowledged the NICSE for the wonderful support and said he will always be a part of the institute, wherever his new assignment may take him.
