NPC calls for unity and understanding

KOHIMA, MARCH 6 (MExN): The Nagaland Peace Centre has appealed to the different Naga Political Groups to work with “unity and understanding: in order to “find a solution to their problem with the Government of India.” A press note from the NPC called upon the groups not to “initiate military action against each other such as kidnapping, abduction and killing.” The NPC further appreciated the Forum for Naga Reconciliation in their efforts to bring about reconciliation among all the groups and work towards an acceptable and honorable solution. “The leadership of FNR is no doubt a force to make things happen and they are capable of bringing 31 different groups/organizations together with the sole objective to focus on reconciliation among different factions of Naga Underground to work towards political solution of the Naga political problem,” it added.
